We get it. You're looking for the perfect photographer - you're wondering if one exists. Is there? We've been on the hunt before, too. Who's going to capture the most meaningful moments? Who are you going to trust with those memories?

Thank you for considering us! Impulse Creatives has been functioning as its own brand since 2017, but both Jess and Perry have been capturing moments long before then. We know how special these moments are for you, which is why we will do everything we can to ensure that your vision is executed as seamlessly as possible. We offer many photography services, from engagements and weddings to birth announcements, family photos, headshots, photographs of your pet, porch portraits, and more. Interested in doing a boudoir or milk bath photoshoot? Good news! We've done that too. Only now, we have a much larger tub to work with.

Booking a Session

To book a session with us, send us an email, DM us on Instagram or Facebook, or fill out the Contact Us form on our Website. Please include the type of service you are interested in, the location you have in mind, and your proposed timeline. We will be in touch with you shortly after that!

Please note: Travel expenses may apply for locations outside of Calgary, AB.

Golden Hour

$150 for 20 minutes, minimum 10 edited photos

Maternity

Whether you want photos by yourself and your bump, you & your partner, adoption forms, or birth announcements, we cannot wait to collaborate with your vision to help you feel like the goddess you are.
$250 for 1 hour, minimum 15 edited digital images

Engagement

Are you looking to pop the question, or have some photos taken after becoming recently engaged?
$250 for 1 hour, minimum 15 edited digital images

Family Portraits

Looking to have some photos taken of the family, with your partner, or friends? Look no further!
$250 for 1 hour, minimum 15 edited digital images

Porch Portraits

These were inspired by the most adorable Porch Portrait Series Jess completed in 2020. Adorable portraits on your own porch outside of your home (or on your balcony).
$75 for 20 minutes, minimum 10 edited digital images

Children & Babies

Who doesn't love getting photos of their little ones? We LOVE working with the tiny humans!

$250 for 30 minutes, minimum 15 edited digital images

Pet Photography

Unique memories of your furry (or scaly) friend(s)! We've worked with hundreds of animals and can't wait to meet yours.
$75 for 20 minutes, minimum 10 edited digital images

Boudoir

You deserve to treat yourself! Let's celebrate who you are and have some fun with a boudoir photoshoot.
$300 for 1 hour, minimum 15 edited digital images

To Our Clients

Thank you for trusting us with your irreplaceable memories. To book or to inquire about booking, please send us an email at impulse.creatives.by.jgurnseyy@gmail.com or send us a message on Instagram (@impulse.creatives). Please include which photography service you're interested in, how many photographers (one or two), proposed location, and length of session.

Add-ons to consider:

Read below for the legal jargon.

When booking a session with us, please note that the client agrees to the following terms and conditions of service:

USAGE RIGHTS AND OWNERSHIP:
The client(s) will/does acknowledge that the photographer(s) of Impulse Creatives are the sole owners of all copyrights of the image(s) and the author of the image(s).

PHOTOGRAPHIC INTEGRITY AND ALTERATIONS:
The client(s) will not make or allow any alterations, including, but not limited to, filters, cropping, adaptations, to the image(s) without the prior explicit written consent/permission of the photographer(s) of Impulse Creatives.

Images taken during the course of a session will be at the discretion of the photographer(s). However, the photographer(s) of Impulse Creatives will be made to fulfill the client(s)' special request(s) and wish(es).

The client agrees that they are obtaining these images for persona use only, and shall not sell these images.

DISPLAY:
The client(s) allow the photographers of Impulse Creatives to display any image(s) covered by this agreement and to generally promote the business in advertising, websites, sample albums, and social media.

PAYMENT:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This may be adjusted for Wedding coverage for initial deposit. Payment in full will be required at the time of agreed upon session. Payment plans may be arranged in advance, but are not eligible after weddings have taken place.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If the client(s) cancel the photography session, the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. However, we may be able to re-book sessions. Before cancelling and forfeiting your deposit, please speak to us prior.

If the photographer(s) cancel a session due to any unforeseeable circumstance, the session will be re-booked.

SESSION TERMS:
The photography session will be conducted at an agreed upon location. There may be a fee for travel, which will be discussed with the client(s) prior, such as for Canmore or Banff.
